How can I participate?
If you are interested in participating in the PERCÉ program, you must complete the online registration form, no later than March 31.
If you know of an employer in your field of study who’s willing to hire you for the summer, this increases your chances of being accepted into the PERCÉ program.
Important details and benefits
Each participant must work closely with the PERCÉ program coordinators, to find a work placement that is related to their field of study. Once a job match has been made, the coordinators will accompany the participant every step of the way during the entire summer. In addition, participants will benefit from 5 days of various professional workshops, organized by the PERCÉ coordinators.
Objective: The objective is to provide the opportunity to acquire relevant knowledge and skills that will be needed in their careers. They also have the chance to create a network of professional contacts in their field of study.
Duration: 8 to 12 weeks during the summer months.
Salary: PERCÉ offers employers a wage subsidy of $7/hour. The employer is responsible to pay the other portion of the salary, which must conform to industry standards for a beginner.
